What is this site for?
A forum for ideas, comments and news about health care and health care management. It will have a UK focus, because thats where I work, but I hope that those from other countries and health care systems will be able to cross-fertilize the discussions.
Why Bayswater Farm? It's where I live and it happens to be a nice place.

Why do I need to Join or Login?
You don't need to if you are content just to browse around and read whats here. However, if you would like to respond to any of the discussion group messages, or post a message on a topic of your own, you'll need to identify yourself by signing on with your email address and a password. Your initial sign up will send a 'cookie' to your computer establishing your session. (A cookie is simply a message that is passed between the server and your computer so each knows about the other. If cookies are disabled in your browser preferences, this won't work). The cookie gives you 'logged-in' access each time you access this site, until you actively Sign Out, when the cookie is 'emptied' out.
